Description

We would like to notify you that on June 20th, 2023, SSL certificates will expire on predeployed MSI and PKG installations of remote support below version 2.83.1. If your application is not updated to the latest version before this date, it will produce a warning message to the end user. However, please note that the app will still be usable once the warning is accepted about the SSL mismatch by the customer/end user. If you have pre-deployed the MSI or PKG to devices, we highly recommend that you push out an update with our latest version (https://docs.screenmeet.com/docs/deploying-a-pre-installed-client) prior to June 20th. By doing so, you can avoid connection delays and warnings being shown to your end users/customers. If you have not pre-deployed the application to your end user’s devices, no action is required as on-demand sessions utilize the most up to date version of our software which contains our up to date SSL. Please raise a support ticket( https://screenmeet.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/2/group/2/create/9 ) if you have any questions as we would be happy to assist.

ScreenMeet Beam

Primary Data Center

Description

We would like to inform you that the SSL certificate on deployed installations of ScreenMeet Beam prior to version 2.83.1 will expire on June 20th, 2023. To avoid any service disruptions, it is important to update all devices on versions below this with our latest version, which is available for download here ( https://docs.screenmeet.com/docs/screenmeet-windows-beam-installing-the-beam-client-to-a-device / https://docs.screenmeet.com/docs/installing-the-macos-beam-client-to-a-device ) Please note that failure to update your device to the latest version if the current version is below 2.83.1 will result in an SSL warning upon session connection. Since Beam is an unattended application, an end user/customer would not be at the device to accept the SSL warning, causing the connection to fail. Therefore, it is important to update to our latest version by June 20th to avoid any service disruptions. Please raise a support ticket( https://screenmeet.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/2/group/2/create/9 ) if you have any questions as we would be happy to assist.
